items. As of now, we only have 7 items,
plus some football tickets. If you can help
at all, please let Lauren Spahr know. She
will be contacting donors from last year
as well.
- Tickets will be priced
at $25 a head, or $50 a couple.
- 3 red wines, 3 white wines
and appetizers will be served
Scholarship
- Maddox says interviews
will happen soon
- Deadline is June 3rd
- Once the scholarship is
awarded, we want to get the winner published
in the Observer
Community Service
- Only 8 people can volunteer
now, since date has been set; goal is 25
people

recruit more

- 20 teams, 86 players (record
number!!)

- Pops in the Park dates
have been set, June 25th looks like the
best date for our wine and cheese event
there
- Starts at 8/15 –
people get there around 7
- Bring VT blankets, orange
& maroon balloons, wine, appetizers
- Need help getting the word
out!!

email list (converting it from PDF to excel)
Financial Update
- Paypal situation, using
the not-for-profit option, we will save
money. It will be $20 per month, plus normal
transaction fee of 2.9%, plus 30 cents per
transaction
- Once we are sure this process
will work, we will cancel the old system
- Online store – need
a specialty item for the CLT chapter. Ideas
discussed:
- Tshirt
- Embroidered pant
- Cheryl will check on price of khaki’s
at Belk, where she can get a 20% discount.
Linda will find out prices of the vendor
in Outer Banks who could possibly embroider
the pants
- Leather checkbook covers, embossed
(perhaps we can buy the tool to emboss
our logo, and put it on many items??)
- Leather cell phone covers, embossed
- Rival t-shirt
- Buying a season pass for
the bus, instead of just one night for one
game? Perhaps this is not the season for
it, because of the poor schedule. Next year
we will re-evaluate
